Hi, I’m Grant Emerson — a Shopify designer and developer based in Nashville.

I help brands build custom storefronts that not only look great, but perform at a high level. Whether you're launching something new, optimizing what you’ve already built, or migrating from another platform, I focus on creating stores that are fast, flexible, and aligned with how people actually shop today.

I’ve been working with Shopify since 2018, partnering with everyone from boutique shops to global brands — always with an eye on clean design, smart development, and giving merchants real control over their site without needing to touch code.

I first dipped my toes into Shopify during a rare slow season in my band’s touring schedule, running a small apparel company on the side. When COVID hit and touring stopped again, I enrolled in a full-stack bootcamp, thinking I had maybe six months before the world reopened and I'd be back on the road supporting my band’s latest album — our first independent release after a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign.

But the world stayed closed much longer.
So I went deeper into the work.I learned everything I could about coding, bringing my “swiss army knife” mindset — if something needs to get done, I’ll figure it out — to a completely new field. That curiosity turned into a skillset, and that skillset turned into building sites for people and companies around the world.

In 2024, I joined SVP Worldwide, parent company of the iconic Singer®, Husqvarna® Viking®, and PFAFF® sewing machine brands. There, I helped launch multiple Shopify Plus stores, tracked down and fixed complex bugs across a massive multi-store ecosystem, designed and developed custom sections, and integrated the platform with a wide range of apps and APIs. That enterprise-level experience shaped how I approach performance, reliability, and merchant-friendly design today.
