Hi, I'm Grant Emerson — a Shopify developer and designer based in Nashville.

I help brands build custom storefronts that not only look great, but perform at a high level — faster load times, cleaner UX, and a purchasing experience that actually converts.

I've been working with Shopify since 2018, building and migrating stores across industries: apparel, accessories, home goods, music equipment, and more.

I first got into Shopify during a slow season in my band Delta Rae's touring schedule. What started as building a merchandise store for the band became a full pivot — I was hooked on the intersection of design, code, and commerce.

In 2012, I was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. In 2024, I joined SVP Worldwide, parent company of the iconic Singer®, Husqvarna® Viking®, and PFAFF® sewing machine brands, leading Shopify theme development across their global storefronts.

Whether you're a solopreneur launching your first idea or running a multi-market legacy brand — I bring the same precision and care to every project.

The tenets behind every project

01

Brief is read

I read every word of your brief before touching a pixel. Understanding your goals, audience, and constraints is the work — design is the output.

02

Push back is the deliverable

If something in your strategy won't work, I'll tell you. You're not hiring me to agree with you — you're hiring me to get it right.

03

Fixed fee, fixed scope

Every engagement starts with a clear scope and a firm price. No hourly surprises, no scope creep by default. Changes are scoped and priced separately.

04

Your store treated like mine

I don't ship code I wouldn't ship on my own storefront. Performance testing, accessibility checks, and QA before handoff — every time.

Making music taught me how to listen closely, layer ideas with intention, and keep things moving — skills I now bring to every project I take on. Forbes recognized that drive early. SVP Worldwide trusted it at enterprise scale. Now it's yours to work with.
